Scratch Tickets

I am just curious to know if anyone has ever won big on a scratch ticket or any amount for that matter. I play them all the time, my boyfriend would say too much but i have never won more than 25 and that was only once, usually it's 3 or 5 dollars.

I think the most I ever won with a scratch tickets was about $20 or so. When my mom was still alive, I remember taking her shopping with me and she picked up a scratch ticket and won $100. It was very exciting!! LOL The biggest prize I remember on a scratch ticket happened to a guy that was graduating from my high school, back in the day -- he won $25,000. BOY he had a nice wardrobe in very short order too LOL!

I would be excited to win $100..lol..and wow really wish I could win $25,000.I bet he did have a nice wardrobe..lol

Ah scratch tickets, also known as the poor tax, because the poor tend to buy them the most. Having worked in a convenience store I got to see the actual payout ratios on those tickets and they are a bad play. Even worse are the break-open tickets found in some areas. I play the big lottery (in Canada its twice a week) but I gave up on scratch tickets ages ago.

I have played lotto 649 and super 7, I never think to buy those tickets most of the time though, I think I need to..lol..Cause well i spend way to much on these darn scratch tickets that I never win anything on. I am getting so addicted to them,I don't know why I just like them..lol
