baby names and a nagging sister in law

So i have a 15 year old sister in law who is driving me crazy!!! my husband and i may start trying to have children soon and we have had our names picked out for a while.....we have decided that we may change the boys name we have picked out so i asked my s.i.l (sister in law) what names she liked.....well my husband (her brother) shot them all down and she is freaking out on me because she doesnt like the two names that we like so far....i told her that we will take into consideration the names that her and my mother in law like but in the end its up to me and my husband as parents to pick the name...and she says well we are apart of your family and shouldnt it be a family decision.....i told her my mom and dad and brothers dont have a say either....they can tell us names they like 2 but we are picking the name....if we had to please everyone my child would never have a name....and we arent even pregnant yet and who says im even going to have a boy!!!! im just really frusterated....what do you think??

I think that it is none of their business what you name your child. Don't even discuss it with them any more. When the time comes, you and your husband decide on the names that you like and who cares about anyone else. You won't be able to please everyone and if you give in to them, you will be reminded about it every time you say your childs name.

It is you and your husbands baby. Not theirs so you two are the ones who get to pick the name out. They can give their opinions but you two are the ones who make the ultimate decision.

yeah thanx 4 the response.......its not my mother in law....she is the sweetest thing....but its my sister in law....she is ....um ....sorta spoiled .....but its kinna hard to explain....she lost her dad in 2001 and ever since then ppl just try to make her happy and her mom is way too nice and she takes advantage of that and thinks that if she fights and whines she will eventually get her way cuz it works most of the time with other ppl! but not me not with that! that is going to be my childs name for life and i want it to be something just between me and my husband!......thank you again for the response!!!!

hey, it's your baby right!
nobody has the right to say something, but that's my opinion!
i never told anyone what names we had for our girls!
so i think you and your husbands have to find out what names you realy like and choose these names! and don't tell anybody what the names are, they found out soon enough. it's not a family decision like your sisterinlaw says!
