Cheap Advertising Idea: Rent Signature Space of Other Posters

People never cease to amaze me in their creative quests for earning money. A little while ago I was skimming a message board and found one post with a signature in bold red letters that said, "Rent my signature space (40 posts) for 25 cents per week". As an Internet Marketer, I think this could be a novel idea, IF I could be sure the posts would be made, made without flammatory or mundane content, and were written in proper English. What are your thoughts on this idea? Would you rent your signature space to others? Would you hire forum posters to include your business signature in their posts? How much payment do you think is fair? Should the posts be relative to your business? I am interested in hearing your thoughts on this topic.
