who's the greatest clutch performer among the active nba players right now?

i think it's tracy mcgrady, especially during his 13 points in 33 seconds performance against the san antonio spurs. close names come to my mind too. kobe bryant, gilbert arenas, michael redd, dirk nowitzki. but i think no one comes close to t-mac

that 13 points in 33 seconds performance was just one instance. a clutch performer has to be ready for each game and each night. he doesn't necessarily need to score as many points as possible in less than a minute. he is the one that makes the crucial plays, the deciding jumper. he scores the go-ahead jumper. someone who can beat the buzzer in regulation to give his team the "W" or go for overtime. he is the one that has to be ready to make the right decisions at the right time. and the player that comes into my mind is no other than Mr.Clutch himself, Chauncey Billups.

nice point there. aside from the 13 points scored against the rockets, he had numerous other great clutch performance. just like the one against the mavericks in 2005 playoffs to name 1. yeah, chauncey billups is a great clutch performer too. especially the half-court shot against the new jersey nets. thats a dagger

In my eyes it is Kobe- How many other players right now-- put their teams on their back and score 50+ points in a game? Yep it is most certainly Kobe- If I owned the team and needed that clutch player- You can bet it would be Kobe's hands that the ball was in in the final seconds. He is the best player right now in the NBA-- He should win MVP hands down!

Yes, I agree with you that T-Mac is the greatest clutch player among the active NBA players nowadays.I think D-wade comes next then followed by Agent 0 Gilbert Arenas and KB24.
