How do you save electricity? Ever used an energy saving device like this?

It hurts me to see my electricity bill go up and up every month so we purchased an energy-saving device that really costs a lot but we decided to buy anyway because we thought that we will benefit from this in the long run. But we were so disappointed that after months of using it, we dont see any change at all. Do you believe in using devices like this? Have any experiences like mine about this product?

The best way to save electricity is analyze the unusual consumption at your home and fit energy saver bulbs in every part of your house wherever needed i am sure you will be able save energy in reality practically like i did ..............
I dont trust in such devices specially those which are not certified ..........
