Should I use true info for signing up Google?

A friend tells me how to sign up google adsense, but it requires enter my true information, including my true address. I'm afraid this may cause trouble to my family. should I really have to entered my true info for signing up?

Unless you are under 18, put truthful information.
If you are under the age of 18, do not sign up.
