...And at the worst possible moment, in the worst possible way.
I don't believe in good and bad luck but I do definitely believe in Murphy's Law. There are some things we cannot control with our attitudes or in any other way.
For example, you leave for work early, in plenty of time, and you hit a traffic jam that makes you an hour late on the day you have a sales meeting with a huge client.
Second example, you clean up your kids to go to your cousin's wedding in an hour. While you are putting the finishing touches on your makeup, they find a mud puddle to play in.
Third example, your in laws are coming over for dinner and the power goes out leaving your chicken next to raw.
This is what happened to me today:
All winter my neighbors and friends have suffered gastrointestinal upset in turn. I escaped it, I thought. Here it is, the most beautiful day of spring so far...guess who is going to spend most of the day conferring with John the Porcelain CEO of Bathroom World? ME. Wahahaha :(

I do believe in the Murphy's Law belief and have had these things happen to me. There is no rhyme or reason to them either. I don't believe in good or bad luck but I do believe that there are things that happen that are beyound our control. The worst of it is these things seem to happen in the most inopprotune times. Where we look around and say Murphy's Law is loose again.
