There are a lot of good books available out there but it would have to depend upon your interest because what might be a must-read for me may just put you to sleep. However, i will also make my suggestion hoping that you might actually enjoy them. Memoirs of a Geisha is a good book that is also culturally enriching, Japanese culture, that is. I would also suggest The Five People You Meet in Heaven. As someone already suggested, Who Moved my Cheese is also a must read. You'll never imagine how much wisdom there is on such a simple book.

I guess I'll definitely be reading the who moved my cheese book. Two people already suggested it! I've already watched the movie Memoirs of a Geisha though they tell me that the movie isn't as good as the novel, as usual. Thanks!

Starship Troopers, by Robert Heinlein, The Book of Five Rings, Miyamoto Musashi. Both are extraordinarily good.

I don't know if these are books that you HAVE to read before you die, but they are on my top ten list, and I have read A LOT of books. These books have all changed my outlook on things or added to my intelligence (I think). 100 Years of Solitude- Gabriel Garcia Marquez Life of Pi- Oh my god, I can't believe I forget the authors name.... :O This is a VERY VERY good book and I recommend that if you aren't reading anything at the moment go and buy it. Don't ask anyone how has read it about it or it will spoil it, don't read reviews or it will spoil it. You need to read this book with an open mind and it will knock your socks off. It is dry at the beginning but give it abuot....50 pages and when you have finished this book let me know what you thought.

Thanks. I'll read the books, then I guess I'll just find you and let you know what I think about it.
