Limewire or Bittorrent?

i am kinda new to this torrent thing.recently my friend introduced me a torrent forum which you can download songs,movies,games and softwares.he suggested to me to use bitcomet.but i find out bitcomet was hard for me to know if the files are seeding or not.later on i found out others are using U torrent in that forum. so i downloaded U torrent after that.i think U torrent is better than bitcomet.as i can know whether the files are seeding or not.besides with U torrent i can pause the download too.at first i did not really understand what it means by seed,leechers and peers. then luckily some people help me in that forum by explaining to me what do each terms mean.but i am still new to this.i heard about torrent before but i did not understand the concepts of it.besides that time i do not know who can teach me all these.but i still haven't hear about limewire. is it very good??i heard people are saying it is a lot better and faster??if it is i might consider of downloading it.is it really free version to use??

I use bittorrent once in awhile, but I usually buy what I like so I can support the creators of TV shows, music, comic books. But I don't use Limewire because it gets all the attention, and the lawsuits.

for me, i prefer to use limewire since i havent used bittorent, ive heard it but im not using it.. Before i tried to use kazaa but it has viruses and destroyed my pc..

Limewire is good but I think the goverment will shut it down somehow.

I used to use BitTorrent to download movies and songs album. Will use Limewire whenever that i only need just a song. Because I dont know what happened with my windows whenever open limewire it slow down windows. :) Have fun

i do the same as natalie1981 i use limewire to download individual files but bittorrent to download entire albums and programs, i never use lmewire though to download programs as most the time they are viruses for me. bittorrent for me is entirely clean though and people comment on the files so you can always read that to see if it is clean or not where as you cant do that in limewire.

i never use Bittorrent. this is my very first time to know about it. ive used Limewire so many times and ive been using it ever since i dont know how long.Limewire is faster than any other websites that cater files to download like Limewire does. this Bittorrent site is not safe huh..? well let me try.

I am a kind of person who likes to experiment a lot and have tried a lot of p2p programs. Right now I am using Bearflix and it is really good. I have been downloading a lot of stuff and never even once got a virus. As far as Limewire Vs Bittorrent, I would prefer Lime wire.

I prefer to use utorrent because you can pause even in middle of downloading and then continue it anytime you want. Very useful when downloading huge files like games.

i agree! i also use limewire to download my mp4 music... its really fast and you have a lot of choices... its user-friendly too! ;)

i think limewire is simpler and user-friendly which made me decide to use it. and yes, downloading is faster but i cant really compare because im not using bittorrent right now.. i only use limewire and bearshare and kazaa.. what do you think is the best among these three that i use?

I have been using limewire for a long long time now and i absolutely trust it...but Bittorrent i must say has a much larger database than limewire...whereas u can always read comments on bith to check if file is genuine..so hats off to both

i prefer to use Bitorrent. because it is safer,faster.it checks our security like firewall,anti virus and then torrent is downloading from p2p.

i personally use Limewire. i used to use Soul Seek, but you can't get videos on that and i found that a lot of the files had problems. my beloved told me to get Limewire. i have been using it ever since and i really lie it, thoguh i find the searches are often timed not complete. i can type in someting one time ang get results, then type the EXACT same thing in a few moments later and get completely different results.

I use Limewire for music because I find it easier to find my music on there but I download the rest of my media off torrentspy using bitlord because I think it is so easy to get anything. I download movies,videos,games,antivirus,applications and other things too.

I use Limewire but not as much as I used to. I don't have time to download. I also don't have anything that I can think of right now. I like Limewire. I haven't used the other one. I also scan whatever I get from Limewire for potential viruses.
