I have a great recipe for Pizza Fondue. It's also Diabetes friendly. ~Pizza Fondue~ (Serves 2) 1/2 cup shredded part-skim mozzerella cheese 4 tablespoons fat-free shredded swiss cheese 1 cup reduced-fat jarred spaghetti sauce without meat 2 2oz french rolls ~In a microwave safe bowl, combine cheese and half of the spaghetti sauce. Cover and heat at medium (50%) power for about 90 seconds, until the cheese has melted. Carefully stir in the remaining sauce, cover, and heat on medium for another 45 seconds. Cut the rolls into bite-sized pieces and divide between two plates. Stir the sauce before dividing between two small bowls. Place the bowls on the plates, and use a fork to dip the bread into the fondue. Enjoy! Diabetic exchanges: 1 1/2 lean meat, 2 carbohydrates (2 breads/starches), 2 vegetables. ~For diabetics **** Limit sodium intake to no more than 1,400g for the rest of the day~

Back in the 70's my parents would have a fondue when entertaining. Mum used to use hot oil and dip kabana, cubes of beef steak, pineapple, potato cubes etc in it. It was really yummy too. I have only ever done a chocolate fondue other than the oil ones. Thanks for the ideas again Margie.
