Creditors Calling a workplace

Thereis no law saying they can not call your workplace, but under Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) if you tell them that it is an inconvenient time and/or place for you to be contacted they must stop calling you at said location. Also, you can write to the collection agency and ask them to "cease and desist" stopping all phone calls and letters from the agency. HOwever, this will not stop them from suing you if they so choose.
