if Jesus loves me so much, then why would he send me to hell? I opened up a discussion asking if Jesus loves nonbelievers, and everyone told me he does... before that discussion, i opened another one asking if nonbelievers go to heaven, and everyone told me no. so basically, as a non believer, Jesus loves me but I'm going to hell...tough love

"You're a good person who has saved lives, helped others, and made the human world a better place. You've done nothing but good, and I admire and love you for that. However, you did not believe in me or my father in your Earthly life, so I'm afraid I'll have to sentence you to an eternity of torment. Sorry." -Jesus Sounds like a real loving person, huh? Gotta love the old fashioned Christian reward system.

hey u got a wrong idea that all non believers go to hell... i mean who said that!!!! u know Jesus himself said that in the end days some of the elect{i.e., born again christians} will be decieved by the devil and if really all the non believers were to go to hell jesus wouldn't have come to die for u and me in the first place!the decission is for us to make coz he has given us free will....if we stay holy thn no one can stop us from goin to heaven and also we are the citizens of the kingdom of GOD...So if u want to change ur citizenship thn its all upto u!

Some members of the Christian relgion do believe non-believers go to hell. It is these viewpoints which I ridicule. Whether or not that truly is the case, I'll never know, nor do I care to know. I simply view the "If you don't believe what we do, you'll burn forever in a lake of fire," pitch as stupid and arrogant.

I would like to know if you really are a non-believer. What makes you a non-believer? and why? Do you believe in God?

i used to believe, but then i stopped believing in religion, then god... partly because i take philosophy, partly because i use facts not faith to prove my point, partly because logic is the answer. iuno, it just became kinda stupid for me... it started when i thought about all the different religions, and how many people who must have claimed that they were god, or gods son. then it was the idea of how Christianity stole from pagan religions like Mithraism. islam didnt make sense to me either, it stole from the old testament and still had senseless violence like stoning women if they do not bleed on there wedding night then i started questioning god himself, does he have feelings? is he logical? how can i have free will if god is omnipotent? if people just stop holding blind faith on everything, then the world would be a much better place.

Jesus doesn't "send" you to hell. You choose to go there yourself. Read C. S. Lewis on this topic.

Are you sure you are going to hell? If Jesus is/was who He said He was and it is written that He loves nonbelievers, then regardless of what the believers say, you are going to heaven.

Jesus doesn't send anyone to Hell. He gives us all a choice to choose Him or not. He loves everyone and sent His son to die for us that we can go to Heaven to live with Him, but He cannot look on sin. The Bible says that there will be no sin in Heaven. Yes, He does love you but He hates sin. He gives everyone the opportunity to believe in Him, accept His son and have eternal life but if a person does not make that choice then the only other alternative is Hell.
