the big problem with relationships, and with life, is that when young and inexperienced, we tend to base our assessment of a person purely upon the look of the person. I have heard that what we consider pretty changes over time, and between cultures. This suggests what we consider pretty is taught to us. I often feel if someone is teaching us something, like a way of looking at the world, there is something in it for them. Consequently, those we judge as pretty are given a higher degree of social reward, but we need to ask, who determines what is deemed pretty?
