Do you have a cat? i have one . he is 5. i love him very much and i don't want to happen everything bad with him... I live at the 4-th floor and my cat usually walks on the rail of my balcony but one rainy day he was unlucky and felt down i was so scared when i saw him missing and searched for him in my entire house, but when i look on the window i saw him down near my apartment house . I run very fast to get him back in my home and when did i was very happy because he was OK without any scratch or injury . Did anything similar happened to your cat? Do you believe cats have 9 lives?

Yes, fortunately it's true I think they have 9+ lives. We lost our cat two times, and five or six times he fell 10 meters whithout consequences. And consider that he loves to stay at home.

no, fortunately it never appened to me. I've seen him falling asleep and then falling from my bed's edge, when he was 6-7 months.

Well one night my cat woke up me and my wife running around like a nut and we finally found out the cat hat a metal hook stuck in its foot owww. But she is doing fine now. Cats are so amazing they can fall and allways land on all four feet.guess your kitty only has eight lives now as mine does to.

Yeah, i think he landed on four feet ,the distance was very big and I'm surprise that cats have this ability but also glad that his still alive.

Yeah its possible but many people witness unbelievable accidents from which cats had escape and maybe this is the reason they believe this tail.

Yaa I think they do have 9 lives. My cat also was in the same situation like yours. We live on the ground floor of a building so he goes out and comes back as he pleases. And we have big trees in the backyard and he just loves to climb on them. One day he claimed on one of these trees but didn't now how to get down. I could her him mewing and figured that he was on one of the trees. As he was have trouble coming down form the tree he decided to jump on a window shade close to the tree. He finally jumped on the 4th floor window shade. I went to the 5th floor window and tried calling him up but he was so scared that he just didn't move. So at last I had to get down on the window shade so that I can bring him up. It was really scary but I had to do it. I love him a lot he is like my son.

Something very similar has in fact happened to me :) I used to live at the fourth floor too and my cat loved getting on the outer windowsill and just staying there. And sure enough one day it fell down :( Luckily I wasn't at home at the time because I am sure I would have really panicked :) My dad was at home though and she went downstairs and got him back. Luckily with no ill effects :) I do not believe cats have nine lives though :)

As i said, i was home and I really got scared so you are lucky ...but I didn't witness the fall thats good. And about the nine lives , seems like your cat landed on her legs...just like mine.

It was my cat, but a friend's . . . she was running through the apartment one day and when she got to the open sliding door, leading out to the balacony, three stories up, she lept right the the railing and went flying! I screamed at the top of my lungs and rushed over to see if she was alright. Sure enough, she seemed to have landed on her feet, er paws!
