Dont they repeat posts?

I am just curious, i saw a mylotian with anout 15,000 posts, is there a possibility that the member could have posted similar discussions, given that he may not be able to recall a topic he sent in the early days of his joining?

Like what the original poster said, the number beside your name doesn't really mean it's the actual number of discussion you posted. It's actually a combination of both so the guy might have reached 15000 just by merely replying to discussions. There are a lot of discussions posted everyday that you could reply to.

The number in parenthesis is actually the number of responses you have made. When you start a discussion, you will notice that your number does not increase. If it did though, regarding your question, I don't think many would repeat a discussion, because you can always go to your "discussions I've started page", and check.
