why does the term Theist, incurr such negetive reaction, at least in America ??? For that Matter....why do you have to believe in anything??? I have Cherokee Blood in my veins , if I liked hugging trees is that such a terrible thing??? I believe there is a God , but my God lives in me. He is my life and Breath. He is not someone I go to visit in a gold and jeweled encrusted , leaded-glass house. He is my protector when I am scared , he is there ( my best friend ) when I need him most. I believe God is everywhere ( including the trees ) Do not be Offended by this observation , that is not my intention. I am simply curious as to why can't we ( in America ) genuinely accept each other's beliefs , like we claim to do every Sunday? God Brings Joy , not Confusion.
