SO happy to see an Earth Day post! I actually saved up some yard work for today, so I could be thanking my planet for being here. I volunteered for our booth at the Earth Day celebration held yesterday at a local park. I work as an administrative assistant for the state Environmental Protection agency, and feel proud to contribute in any way I can. Our state truly seems to be committed to actually protecting and preserving. I get to volunteer often and educate frequently, and I think that letting folks know what's really going on, and what they can do to help improve the environment, in their neighorhood is a very important and necessary contribution to the health of the planet. I reduce and re-use and recycle and it's very easy. My son and grandchildren do the same, and don't think twice about it... that's just the way it ought to be and they've always done it. I could go on and on about how important the health of our planet seems to be to the younger generation. It seems they are taking it seriously.

Earth Day - Earth
Earth is our mother. Though it's an abstract concept, well, the perception of being a mother is truly established. We should respect it like our dear mothers. As earth's son, I would love to take care of it and make it useful as much as possible. Also, people should act as responsible servants of the environment. It's really scary on the other hand because it can produce ferocious natural calamities once we abuse these resources. They give us everything we need. They provide the raw materials of all our technologies. Hence, in return, we should do our part in nurturing its beauty and appeal. Our good will and acts of restoring the environment should be sustainable enough for the next generations to benefit from it also. People, we must move now before it's too late.
