We always have seen that two wheelers are riskful. But we have seen that the crowd of two wheelers is increasing on the road day by day. There are many reasons for that. But i want to ask that should we avoid two wheelers?

dear sir every thing in this pretty world has two sides one +ve and other negative if a child takes birth we celebrate it but the another truth is that he will go leaving everthing one day that is a matter of sorrow. there are thousands of examples in our daily life like as electricity we event can't think of living without electricity but its also very dangerous to get a electric shock. so as the case of two wheeler it has many good points and few bad points but we should try our side best so as to avoid accidents

Its all right but we must be careful while driving two wheelers and must follow the rules of the traffic strictly.

No I don't believe that anyone should give up something they like just because they may be at risk because anything we do in life there is a risk involved in it . Therer is a risk everytime we get up in the morning and go for a drive or a walk or even when we make something to eat . If one is careful with what they do they will illiminate the chances of getting hurt and can still enjoy themselves . Protecting yourself with the proper gear and following the rules of the law will help you to have a good time and help prevent you from getting hurt . Accidents will always happen and there is nothing anyone can do about that but that doesn't mean we should stop living because we are afraid to get hurt :)

Well I believe that when you have to die, you will die, irrespective of whether you are in a two wheeler or not. LOL On the serious note, I agree that they are dangerous. Two-wheeler riders have to be much more careful about riding their vehicles as compared to car-drivers. I think they should make sure they wear helmets, and it would be nice if the government could specify a seperate lane for two-wheelers. It would definitely help reduce the number of accidents. As for avoiding two-wheelers, maybe you can buy a car instead of a two-wheeler if you have the money, but if you only have enough money to buy a two wheeler, I guess you don't have much of a choice. If the public transport is good, though, I think it is best to use those means.

I really depends on your priorities of life. I have seen a few people who were very passionate about their bikes and rode at fantastic speeds until they met with an accident. It specially has a very big impact if someone else was riding with you. After the accident, they transformed into very cautious drivers - their whole perspective of the road changed. It depends on which city you live in too. Smaller cities are safer to an extent, since they don't have the same density of traffic. But then, two-wheelers have the advantage of being able to navigate in heavy traffic, and a bike will get you to a place faster than a car.

Here in our country motorcycles are getting popular. I like being a passenger riding a motorcycle. Traveling is faster than a car especially during rush hours. The problem i noticed here in our country, motorists doesnt wear helmets. Its a must to wear one. Accidents can happen anytime, anywhere. I guess our government officials is not that strict implementing the rules and regulations here. Isnt that sad.

i for one am afraid of motorcycles. so i really stay away from them. but thats just me. on the other hand for those people who arent afraid of two-wheeled contraptions should just go ahead and get one or ride one. just dont disregard traffic rules and regulations because its for the safety of everybody on the road and your own. peace!

If you are financially sound, then I definitely suggest to avoid the two wheelers and use four wheelers instead. As you have mentioned, travelling in a two wheeler, that too without helmet, in the heavy traffic is the most dangerous one, as you dont know who will hit you when. Even though you drive carefully, you may get hit because of the others carelessness. Almost many of the accidents have happened within a fraction of time, even though the drivers are very cautious. Be careful and if possible, travel in a bus than travelling in a two wheelers in a heavy traffic.
