Ever since I was a child my Mother would make a large breakfast for the entire family we would sit down together and eat as a family and then when we were done we would go to Church. Nowdays, every Sunday Morning I get up and make a huge breakfast for the family and we all sit down and watch some Sunday morning kids show on in the background and talk together as a family (we attend evening services of our church so we can take our time), I love this time together and have been carrying on doing this since I was young. I know alot of families don't have time toghether (which it seems like we never do) except for Sundays .. what about you? Do you make Sunday Morning Breakfast for the family?

No, i go to church on Sunday mornings, and no one would want to wake up earlier to eat breakfast. i do however go over to my mom's house on most sunday nights for dinner. when i moved out that was the deal. although it dosent happen every sunday anymore due to work, and other reasons. Still it is nioce to have a family meal, even though i dont live there any more.

I think everyone should spend quality time with their family. I think that is very important in a home, when sitting down at the table with the whole family. I use to do it with my kids wnen they were younger.

We eat all our meals together as a family. If my husbands works nights then my daughter and I still eat together. It's a time to share the day and be thank-ful that we are together. If we get up early enough on Sundays we have big breakfast before Church otherwise we grab something and eat it on the way. It is a 45 minute drive to our church. I love family meals.

It is so wonderful that you make the effort to spend this quality time with your family. It strengthens those bonds and is so spiritually nourishing for the whole family. It also speaks volumes about your character. You demonstrate, in my opinion, that you are a loving and selfless wife and mother who is devoted to her family. I only wish that all families were like this. I too get togehter with my family on a regular basis. Not for Sunday breakfast, however. It's usually on a Saturday or Sunday evening for a potluck. I always look forward to it. Thanks for a great discussion.

Usually we do unless one of us has to work. Then it is everyone for themselves.

Usually, weekends are the times that we make a big breakfast. But since my partner works retail, it has not always been on Sunday. There have been times that it has been Saturdays. Today though, my partner woke me up to him making everyone breakfast. It was really nice! Normally, I am cooking pancakes while he is cooking eggs and one of the teens cooking bacon. But this morning, we all woke up to him cooking everything except pancakes...not one of his strong points. LOL But it was really nice. :D

every sunday morning, we usually wake up late than we used to and i will start preparing our breakfast and after i set the table i will wake up my husband and children and we eat together. sunday is family day for me so me and my husband make it a point not to accept any engagement because we set this day as a bonding time for us family. we go to church then we will go to some places and have time with our children.

When I was a kid my Mum always used to do a full Sunday breakfast. It was my job to set the table with a cloth and napkins, and we would all sit round the table and have a big Sunday breakfast. These days, however, I rarely both with a sunday breakfast at all and, if I do, then it is usually just myself and my partner sitting at my little table.

Yes, I make breakfast in the morning about 9 AM during sundays and we all eat together and enjoy breakfast by watching TV. As i am a working woman and also husband goes for office daily, we don't miss sundays to spend with our children. Sunday is devoted exclusively to family.

No because we are usually rushing around madly to go to church but we almost always have a Sunday family lunch, usually a roast dinner but it's always together with maybe the odd visitor or two from church.

My family just eat their breakfast whenever they get up. The only time we really eat breakfast together is when we're going on holidays as my mother will usually put on a fry-up.

Our family with different schedules we rarely eat ANY meal together not even Sundays. We always eat separate times in the morning. My parents eat together and then I eat and sometimes with my sister or sometimes alone we eat. Same as rest of week. Dinner rarely together and lunch NEVER usually! Thats how it goes with everyone working or doing stuff and getting up different times!

I feel that I do not make breakfast for my family once. I do cook lunch and dinner for my family when I am free and I am really willing to cook these two meals for my family. and for breakfast. I think all of us are very busy. we would just buy something from the shop and eat it. and sometimes. my mother would cook breakfast for alll members of my family. and I am really thankful for my mother for what she is doing for my whole family. and I am glad that three of my family are happily living together. and have a good day....

Yes, our family has also the tradition of gathering every Sunday and enjoy lunch together. It is always a very nice day for everybody where talks differ from one subject to another. It is the time to share stories, renew bonds and established closer comaraderie. I am always looking for every Sunday. Though most are busy, we always find time to gather this day and enjoy it ultimately. In my country, this is a very common tradition. And our society is better of it. Closer family ties will always result into closer and more stable society.
