Whenever I have the option of doing so I prefere to buy fair trade roses. In addition to ensuring the workers got a fair pay for their work I feel the fair trade roses are of excellent quality. Do you have the choise of buying fair trade flowers where you live? Do you prefere them to other flowers?

I have seen a lot of Fair trade products here in the United Kingdom, but ive never seen Fair trade roses,or any other fair trade flowers for that matter, but im wondering whwether its either becuse im not looking in the right place,or they are only available abroad.I tend to buy roses from Lidls supermarket, they are amzing value, the stems are very long, and the heads are so good, the price is low,but im not at all sure where they are grown, somewhere in the world in a hothouse. If you read this post tell me where to look out for the Fair trade flowers, and I would do my best to see if I could find any.

i do not know where you'd get them in the UK. I found out were they have them in Norway by using the internet site for fairtrade. Never saw the Lidl ones. lidl did not make it here - people preferes the national food chains
