As I looked over discussions and responses I always look to see how many responses are listed. It's normal to see 10 or 20 sometimes even 30 or more, but when I see discussions with over 200 and 300 responses it blows my mind. I have to read them all.
It's so interesting. Do you read the discussions with that many responses on them or do you just go on to the next one?

Old Buddy has a lot of interesting topics and tips. Other discussions with that many hits puzzle me but they are really interesting to read.

Well, one of my favorite mylotians also happens to be one of the most literate and prolific-- and his discussions frequently (or almost always) get in excess of 100 reponses. I've only had ONE discussion reach that landmark... maybe I just don't know the "right people."
If it's an interesting topic, I'll typically go through all the responses... although they do tend to get a little repetitive, after a while. Still, there are often some nuggets of wisdom to be found, and I come away having learned something. If the topic borders on "controversial" (no uncommon with politics, religion or sexuality), I find it really fascinating to read thevast divergence of opinions AND observe the passion with which people defend their points of view... even when the specific topic at hand turns out to be completely subjective.

I don't guess I know the right people either Denmarkguy. Or maybe it's that my discussions don't grab enough attention. Who knows? I still enjoy it all.

Hi Terilee, I can not even begin to imagine ever getting that many responses, I think the most was 48, and I was awestruck by that as well I feel obligated to read and give a rating to each and every one that answers my discussions. Now I will have to go and see what it is all about I am sometime stuck for ideas as to what I should start a discussion with so I guess I will go and have a look at the pros.

Yes, I do read the discussions with a lot of responses. It is nice to see topics that a lot of people have responded too and it is fun to read how others feel about that topic.
I also like to read the top discussions of the day and I always try to read what my friends have started and I like to look at the ones with no responses too.
I think I just love this whole site and I am sure glad someone told me about it.

Sometimes I read but I choose to read the new discussion with no responses at all, because if I read some of there responses and I agreed with what they say, I feel I cheated them if I post my reaponse with desame opinion.
