vaccumming your bed

do you vaccuum your matress. i saw on oprah you should because there are these little bugs living on it. does anyone actually do this. or is washing your sheets often good enough?

Yes, I have been doing this for a few years. I wash my sheets every week, I wash my pillow every month, and I vaccuum my matress every once in a while.

This is a new one for me. I have never heard of doing this but yes I guess it would make sense. The thought of bed bugs just gives me the heebie jeebies though. Thanks for the information.

I have a waterbed, so I can just wash it down everytime I change the sheets. I think OPrah is right. There are little bed bugs living in there.. Actually, there is all kinds of dust..
