Do you think the United States can win the war in Iraq?

I believe that the war, besides being unjustified to begin with, was lost in 2003 when Bush failed to send enough troops to secure a post invasion Iraq. For months insurgents were allowed organize and take over entire towns because there were not enough troops on the ground. The harsher the measures the U.S. takes to stop the insurgents and militias the more they alienate the Iraqi people. There is no point in keeping our troops in the middle of civil war that is going to rage for at least a decade. The Sunnis and Shiates hate each other and the only thing they have in common is they hate us more. www.stealthisnation.blogspot.com

I agree, this is a no win situation. We waited too long. I also agree that we never should have gotten involved. I support and respect our troops over there but I do not support the war. I believe when we finally pull out it will be like Vietnam and go back to the way it was before.
