Apple has many nutrients it contains a lot of fructose (type of carbohydrate) important for the retina of eyes and it has a lot of antioxidants which helps our body to fight oxidation and carcinogenic effects of many chemicals. They also say “Vitamin C and an Apple a Day Keep Cancer Away” …. What do you think? Would you eat apple every day? I like apples but I can’t stand eating one every day … What about you? May be I would drink apple juice because I like it … Is there any fruits could be put instead of it?

When I was a little girl an elderly neighbour always said eat an apple a little time before you go to bed, I never thought about that for years, now recently I have been having anxiety attacks when I go to bed and suffer from insomnia, one night I wa hungry and had an apple late at night and I had a great nights sleep, so I have an apple now an hour or so before I go to bed and I have been getting a better nights sleep so maybe the old apple has a lot more going for it than we think...

It's actually very untrue. The saying is from a company which sold "apples" and later became a common saying. eating apples don't really do anything special for the teeth and they can more often cause trouble. (especially for the loss of teeth) But don't take my word. ~Joey Kudos!
