Finally used it

I have been collecting singstar games off ebay for a while, and then about 3 weeks ago, got the microphone for the games.
Well, on Saturday night I finally got to use them.
We had friends over for a barbecue, and drinks.
I was looking forward to getting the games out, and after a few (6 or 7) vodka cruisers I took the microhone and belted out some classic tunes of the 80's, some legends, anthems and other stuff.
My 'friend' and I had a competition, and she beat the 'crap' out of me.
Then her husband & mine had a sing-off with the winner of they boys to play the winner of the girls.
My hubby was better, so he had to sing against her.
She beat him hands down, and it was great fun.
It is the sort of thing you need to be at least a little bit tipsy to do, as it removes the inhibitions you have.
However, if you are too tipsy, you won't be able to read the words and sing in a 'straight voice'

I love it, I'm starting to be a collector of PS3 Guitar Hero games and Rockstar too, but I don't need to be buzzy or drunk to get into it, in fact i've never been drunk while singing, I usually just do it by myself because I don't want to deafen my friends ears.
