The Feeling of Frustration...

Have you ever been so deep in thought you forgot to breathe and your face turned red? I know I've been there. Usually that's when I have to write my thoughts down before they explode out of me. How do you deal with that deep of thoughts? Something to think about?

I hardly ever get that bad. I've never forgotten to breath. I hardly ever allow myself to get to the point of being that frustrated over something either. It's usually not that serious.

I'll agree with you, it usually isn't that serious of a matter at all. I just get so caught up, that everything seems to stop. I wish I could find a way to not be so wrapped up. Thanks terilee for your response.

So you keep looking at yourself in the mirror? :P
You won't *forget* to breathe. You have lived so long so as long as you don't consciously *think* of breathing, you will do it subconsciously.
For your info, a bit of trivia for you - it is not possible for someone to die from voluntarily stopping to breathe.

Hey lordwarwiz...I know I won't actually die, and that eventually I will breathe. But when the frustrations and thinking get so heavy sometimes, it feels like you completely stop and your chest tightens, and you can't figurativly breathe. I know it will be okay in the long run. Thanks for your trivia and advice.

My kids are grown, and hubby works many hours, so usually it is just me, nothing to break the monotony of my thoughts. I am glad you responded, thank you.

when i have moments of frustrations, I just let it go. I don't allow things to get me down to the point where i think i am going to explode. writing is a great way to be able to let that go. i just don't focus on the negative because then you just get more things to be frustrated about. let it go

Thanks 34momma. That is good advice, although sometimes easier said than done, but I am trying to just let go. The writing does help.

i usually write it down too because i might get me crazy if i will just think of it all the time. Or if i'm not satisfied of just writing my frustrations down, i will tell my frustrations to someone and complain to them all my frustrations, to release it to me. this strategies helps me to relax again, like i have no frustrations at all.

i would usually write things down. i would also put them into my blog, change the language to something i know my friends wouldnt understand... just so i dont get bombarded with questions about what i wrote or something. sometimes i just needed to vent and it is one venue for me to do so.
if i need it to be private.. i will include that in my online diary. it actually helps me a lot... sometimes there are thigs and frustrations we cannot tell to even our close friend... i guess those are the things i wrote in private and keep to myself.

Frustration is such an interesting emotion in that it requires a creative outlet assessment, usually in the nick of time before the event overwhelms you. With this emotion one can turn several shades of blushed pink to beet red depending upon how 'touchy the subject is'.
But I know of hope when I see frustration about to get the best of me, deep breaths and the realization that this comes with my higher standards and the stubborn inability to lower them; therefore, change of perspective is the key and frustration can them slip away into nothingness.
