My one year old daughter knows how to operate my cellphone camera.. knows how to browse through my cellphone gallery to look at the pictures.. knows how to use our home telephone and our mobile phones.. knows how to turn on and off the TV, the electric fan, and the computer monitor.. and amazingly knows how to use a computer mouse..

Yeah.. she's quite the little techy girl.. It would be nice if she'll be in the medical field someday like me.. but I have a feeling she'll be more interested in the field of Engineering just like my husband (her father) and my dad.. (n_n)

My daughter is a talented actor and passed an audition last year for the National Youth Theatre, where she attended their workshop. Sadly though she has not persued this as a career, as it is hard to get into the business. My son is a talented artist and has been developing his graffiti writing over the past year. The other week he attended a course at Sadlers Wells and met some famous graffiti artists who he worked with. He is also a talented drummer and last xmas we bought him a fullsize drum kit as we will always support his talents.

The one thing I DON'T ever remember my family asking me when I was young was, "What do you want to be when you grow up"? I think if they had found a talent in me at a young age and nurtured it, I might have directed my life in a totally different direction. It's important to let a child find themselves, no matter what the age and encourage them to pursue their dreams. Good grief, look at Tiger! Wouldn't you love to think you could sit back and let your famous child take care of you in your old age? I certainly would.

you know i don't ever remember my family asking me that either. i know my step dad did when i was 15, and i had no idea. i guess because it was never talked about when i was growing up. with my children we talk about it. my older son loves music and computers. so i got him a computer and d.j equimpment. I must say that he is great at both. even got a job offer from Chase Bank in the IT deparment when he is finished with school in June. He is only 17. That's my boy!!

yes my child has talent, now she is 1 year 7 months old. she holds the pen or pencil and ask's for paper, when we give her the paper she just keeps drawing circles thou not perfect one still looks like one, she tells one, two, three, four, five till ten or she say A, B, C, DDD. i too dont know whether she will become a writer or not. Even i would like to put her in dance class becoz she loves to dance when music is on.
