How about that KO of Cro Cop? Gonzaga caught him with an awesome high kick. Looks like Couture is going to have his work cut out for him. Bisping won as expected and was very impressive against Sinosic. I look forward to him stepping up and taking on an Ortiz or Sobral on his charge through the 205 division. Arlovski was not very impressive. He fought a smart fight but it was not very exciting. What are your thoughts on the fights?

Not the most exciting UFC but ended with a bang! Cro Cop looked liked he was destroyed by that kick, did you see his ankle when he fell. I couldn't believe he was up and walking around (after 10 minutes). There sure has been a lot of upsets in the UFC lately. I would be a little intimidated if I was Couture, but he's pretty smart. I think the main thing is to dictate the pace of the fight, Cro Cop was backing up the whole time and seemed to be out of his game plan. As for the Bisping fight, it looked like total domination, but I got worried when he got knocked down with the big knee. Then Elvis almost got the Komora on him, but Bisping is definetly a great fighter and managed to reverse and get the win. The rest of the night was pretty boring, I used to be a big Arlovski fan but his last fights have been lame. He looks happy to just get a couple hits in and then just coast for the decision. I wouldn't offer him a fight for a while, or put him lower on the card. Maybe that would motivate him to try and finish the fight.

I think Arlovski still deserves to be part of the main card. He is still a huge draw and when facing another energetic fighter he steps up and keeps it exciting. I think his last few opponents did not press the pace and he was comfortable with just taking the decision. Put him in with Gonzales or Couture and I think you'd see a totally different fighter.

as for bisping fight, the way bisping fights, i think he learned a lot from tito ortiz when he was on the the ultimat fighter show, he grounds and pounds like tito ortiz, maybe it would be exciting it dana would match up bisping and his co-team mate on that series, matt hamill whick was tito's favorite,, coz at the time the two of ther are training partners, that time their underestimating bisping.. i wann see them fight on arlovski's fight it was kinda boring,, i think he plays it safe,, he is more concern on the win.. and not on the fight itself, i mean doesn care if it goes boring as long as he wins.. thats how i see it..

I think Bisping would tear Hamill apart. Hamill is a straight up wrestler and Bisping has a much better stand-up game and is great at sprawling. He is also well versed on the ground and could get out of whatever Hamill tries. I think Arlovski is being careful because he knows another loss will really set him back in trying to get another title shot. I do think he needs to increase his intensity if he wants to prove he deserves another shot at the title though.

i was amazed on the result, i expecte cro cop to do that to gonzaga, i think what happens it that, crocop is expecting the kick below, instead gonaga landed on his head, then boom! knocked-out crocop, did not expect that at all, i am very much convince that gonzaga will loose that fight, but another upset happend,, just like sera vs. st. pierre.. i wonder what will be the outcome on the ufc 71 where liddel will avenge his lost with rampage jackson... will liddel beat jackson.. but im a liddel fan,, im hoping for him to win

Yea, I am looking forward to Lidell v Jackson too. I am a Lidell fan but I think this is a pretty evenly matched fight. If he can keep the fight standing I give the nod to Lidell but if Rampage can get his hands on Lidell it is anybody's game.

I loved the Bisping fight, and that Gonzaga was amazing! I could have done without the Arlovski fight though. Neither of them wanted to get into it. Boring! I just wish we could have seen some more of the undercards, rather than listen to the commentators build up the next match.

I think it's about time. YouTube is filled with fights showing UFC fighters getting beaten by Pride fighters. The comments are downright nasty. One of the things I admire in the UFC and Pride is that after a bout, the fighters shake hands in a most gentlemanly manner, unlike pro wrestling. That's the whole concept. It's about perfecting the art, mastering the craft. After the heavy hitting, it's all just a match. Each fighter can go back to training and fight again. No point in bad mouthing anyone. To me, all these fighters are honorable warriors. I f they bad mouth each other, that's to psyche themselves up and their opponents. We fans don't have to do the same.

Now that the UFC owns Pride these fighters are going to get their shot.

As a mma student myself i think cro cop is out of his game at that time, you should see that he has a higher skill than gonzaga nothing to take in gonzaga because i know he is also a great fighter and smart. But cro cop was really out of his game.Arlovski was really not one of those fighter that is exciting to watch he just lost the killer finishing moves the he once had. Mediocre fighter and not exciting.
