Alec Baldwin star of 30 Rock angry voicemail to his daughter

OH now this really really gets my blood boiling! I cannot even type I am so angered!! grrrrrrrrrrr this is just not right! Not right at all. I have heard of his ranting and raving, and physical abuse in the past but this really takes the cake. NO Father no matter what should ever talk to his daughter like that! Right wrong or indifferent there is NO excuse for a Man to leave a voicemail like that! HE is the stupid one, did he think for one minute that Kim Basinger or the daughter herself would not alert the media or the authorities of this type behavior? He is so conceited, and arrogant and RUDE himself that he thought she would quiver in her boots and just sit still for it? NO WAY!!! Gosh do you think she was ready and waiting on the 20th for her Dad to come and abuse her some more!! No wonder she is fighting so hard in court for her rights. No wonder the little girl doesn't want to be there when he does call! What about when it's convenient for her? She's 12! I hope that this hangs him out to dry for a long time to come. Between his political views (i.e. "If George Bush wins a 2nd Term I am leaving the U.S" Well your still here? Can we escort you out to Siberia? If you don't like it and can't behave like a proud American then get the hell out!!! Love it or Leave it - the this country would be better without him! OK OK OK I have ranted long enough but MAN!!! This did not show as anything that had to do with Baldwin. It was a very kaleidoscopic design. This is sad. I had not heard about him doing this. I had heard about the war between him and Kim Basinger over the custody of their daughter. He said some pretty nasty things about about his ex-wife. She said some unkind things about him. I was not sure who was really in the wrong. Now, that I know he call his daughter a pig and said she did not have any brains, I am inclined to think Kim Basinger is in the right. You read a lot about the Baldwin brothers and their not so nice ways. I think fame gets to people. There could be a drinking problem there. Anger management. I think he should be kept away from his daughter.

Yeah, he worded his words a little harsh, but that doesn't make him a bad father. He is close to his daughter and this whole thing will blow over soon.

Big deal, he was pissed off at his kid for not doing what she was told. I've said worse. And so has nearly every parent in the world.

I haven’t heard the actually voice mail, my pc is running a bit slow but I agree that no father should ever verbally abuse his children. It’s the same as physical abuse and maybe even much worse. Words could leave scars too and it heals much longer than bruises. If my father ever called me names or anything, I would be so hurt and it will probably scar me for life.
