Well there's a light shining at the end of dad's tunnel. he "may" come home Monday afternoon/evening. His blood pressure is back to normal now. He gets up and about with the nurses walking the halls of the hospital. His heart rate is still pretty irregular. So right now it all depends on his heart rate etc tomorrow. I have to visit him in the morning then wait to talk with the Dr. I'm sure there's going to be new meds etc. Maybe I can get him back into some outside physical therapy. It's a long shot but I'm going to push this when the Dr is in the room also so he hears it from the Dr also. Thanks all for the prayers concern and caring for my well being as well. It really means a lot having you all as friends here as well as my friends on the outside of the internet. Thanks for all prayers and well wishes. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB.

I am very pleased to hear that your Fsther appears to improving sufficiently to come home on Monday. It's never easy when ones parents get quite elderly, and one thing after another goes wrong with my system. I gather your Father is "difficult" at times. My mother-in-law, age 81, disabled & with only partial site, was taken to hospital a copuple of weeks ago. Something was obstructing her bowel, & she was in great pain. Three days later she booked herself, aghainst the Doctors wishes. m My husband was furious, as she lives on her own in a flat, & can't shower herself.

Yes at 82 dad does tend to get a tad bit diffucult. I visted him this morning. he was sound asleep so I didn't wake him. I talked to the nurses to get an update. Today he will be seeing a nuerologist and cardiologist. they also said maybe a Physical therapist. they'll see about that. But the CHANCE of him getting released today are pretty slim they said. So I'll return to visit later and see whats up then. Thanks all. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Very happy to hear about your dad's improvement in health, Grandpa Bob. The good Lord just wasn't ready for him yet. HE wants your dad with you to test your patience and love with him. So, in a way, your dad's recovery is the Lord's way of testing you..know what I mean? Hope so cause I'm having difficulty putting in words what I'm thinking. Glad you gave us all an update on your dad's health. I've been thinking of you and your dad while I was working out in the yard yesterday. Now is a good time for some outside physical therapy for him if the doctor oks it, which I'm sure he will...with the warm weather, that is.

Thank you for the B/R, Grandpa Bob. Gonna have to be more stubborn than your dad to get him active again from what you have been saying in your other updates about him.

Good luck with everything and take good care of your dad. Parents sometimes don't believe in the need to slow down and follow orders so be patient and understanding. Hope he feels better soon.

Oh grandpa, I'm so happy with you. It can be pretty hard seeing our love one this way. Like what I'm telling everyone who still have their parents with them, treasure them always with all your heart. I lost mine years ago. I hope to see more of you in the coming days. God bless you and your family. Happy posting, grandpa.

Grandpa, this is wonderful news indeed! I'm so glad to know he's doing okay. It sounds like the outdoor physical therapy thing might be good for him too. I'll keep my fingers crossed that he's allowed home, and that he takes the advice of you and the doctors too, and that he continues to improve. Take care.
