Me too! I'm so into japanese ever since.^_^ I just love listening to jpop and jrock, watch anime, jdramas and jmovies as well.^_^ I also wanted to learn how to speak the language.^_^ At first I tried searching the web if there are sites offering lessons. Then I started to hit the books. Hmmm.. I found videos in some sites like in Youtube which teaches nihonggo.^_^ Oh, if you love watching japanese, do try this site: http://www.crunchyroll.com There are also videos there who can teach you how to speak japanese.^_^ I've watched the first parts and I think they'll be really helpful for you too...^_^

I like Japanese animation very much so i like to learn this language. I should say it is simple when learn this language at the beginning but difficult when you learn more. i give you some advice to learn this which is also i use to learn Japanese. 1. When you know how to spell the pronounciation of Japanese, you can listen to the song and sing it. 2. You can watch animation to have a good feel of this language. 3. You can find many information on net to learn it. and choose what you need. 4. The most important is you should put your heart in it, and love it. I think that if you are really interested in something, you can learn it well.

I listen to japan-a-radio, it is great they play good music, and on the site they have a bar that tells you details about the song (name and artist) so if you like the song you can note the details down and try and find it later to listen to again :).

I can't believe anybody would want to learn Japanese. I've lived in Japan for 16 years now and still struggle to make daily conversation!! It is a tough language but also very interesting!! At the moment I'm listening to my 4th grader read his Japanese school book and have no idea what he is reading about!! There are loads of sites that offer Japanese study. Try to find one that offers the Japanese profieceny test. Level one of that test gives you enough Japanese to enter a Japanese university. Even if you don't do the test it is a good system to learn from. I do have a bookmark for one site because I can't find it now. Good luck dreamjapan
