i'm afraid of heigts, are you?

i have acrophobia-fear of heaights if i goto my terrace and watch the ground floor i feel my ehad is spinnning and i feel as if i will fall down this happens always i dont want to do this at all i dont want o climb heights but i enjoy being at the adventurous parks. but i am really afraid of heaights.a dgiant wheel dosent frighten me but heights does.

i am also afraid of heights or some people call as "Acrophobia" which means extreme or irrational fear of heights. i dont know why but since childhood i dont want to go to high places and if im in the high building, i cannot look at the windows thinking that i will fall.

Yes I am very afraid of Heights and stay away from them as much as I can lol We used to live in an upstairs Flat many years ago and I would not go on the Balcony or anything lol

I am definitely afraid of heights. I won't go near anything that is high above the ground. My husband, his sister and her husband and I went to the Arch. They are from Kentucky so they wanted to go up in the Arch. I stayed safely on the ground. I wanted no part of going to the top of the Arch. Another time we went to a carnaval that had a ferris wheel that had two of them together and as it went around one would sit ontop of the other. My husband and my son tried to talk me to going on that. I told both of them they were crazy. Another time we were in texas and they had this very tall tower that had a railing on the outside of it for people to walk around outside of it. My son and my husband went up and when they came down tried to talk me into going up I told them my feet were just fine planted on the ground. So I think you get the general idea. I have a big phobia when it comes to heights.

My h usband is very afraid. he will not drive overb bridges, so we pretty much stay off them. And living in Florida is is not easy. I do not drive, never did

ha ha! me, too! I'm afraid of heights. A typical example is looking down from a three story building. It makes me feel sick. My knees starts to shake and my knees begins to weaken.Funny feeling but , I really can't explain it. So, of all the hobbies and entertainments I go for, I won't choose anything that talks about heights.

that is acrophobia that you are experiencing right now. maybe when yo were a childm you've had an experience that continuously comes back on your memeory that everytime you experience a stimulus of the same kind, you freak out

I am afraid of wild animals though I haven't encountered one yet. I really find them so scary in the movies. I got a college close friend who's very much afraid of heights. She got us annoyed every time we go shopping because she doesn't take the escalator, rather she take the stairs. We find it very ridiculous in fact escalators are not that high. We encourage her to overcome that fear but she always refuse.

I'm not afraid of heights, but my mom is very afraid. She won't go over bridges. So we have to take a different route.

Yes, I am afraid of heights. It does not matter if it is 5 meters or 500 meters above the ground. I always get this funny feeling in my "bum". And I always step back, fearing that I might fall. The funny part though is that when I am in an airplane at an altidute of 11'000 meters and I look out of the windows, it has absolutely no effect on me and I am feeling ok.

Now, i dont fears heights. I've overcome it already. We had this leadership activity,wherein we have too overcome our fears. They let me cross a log at a height of almost 25 feet above the ground.

No, I am not afraid of heights. I used to work in construction on the roof. After a few days of going up and down a ladder, you get over any fear you may have had.

not, the height does not make fear, me me is lunch also conm the parachute, I would not know dirti what it makes fear me, it depends on the days and from as I feel myself

I hate being in a car going up a mountain road or down when I cant see the bottom of the ravine now I can climb a mountain and look over the edge and not be scared but in a car is different Ya can go over tht cliff in a car hiking ya know not to get to close to the edge

I am afraid of heights also because if im going to look at, at a heights i think i will be fall because of the gravity.It is so scary i know that thats why i dont what to look up a high building.

I am very scared of heights. I have never been been able to bring myself to fly. I only take a bus or drive my car. I don't care much for elevators either if it's the ones in glass, I see the other floors and my stomach wants to be sick. I'm not a real brave person.

I am also afraid of heights. I feel like my guts are being pulled down to the ground and my body wants to follow. I also have a fear of things that crawl in their bellies, like snakes, worms, leeches etc. They make my skin crawl!

I am afraid of heights too. Not the being up high but the climb to get there. I can ride roler coasters and things that go high as long as the start out at ground level. The other thing I am afraid of is snakes.
