I'm talking about this new upcoming musical movie topbilled by John Travolta, who dons a fat suit and plays a woman! I've seen some of the initial stills over at E! News and by the looks of the pictures and of John's "metamorphosis", I think the movie "Hairspray" will be one to watch. I can't wait to watch the movie! What about you? Any thoughts on this?

i saw the movie Hairspray with Ricky Lake a number of times. and am very bored with it...but, i will say that some of the clips ive seen of Travolta dolled up look hilarious..so i will for sure at least rent the movie when it comes out.

Hi Cinder! Thanks for your response. Does this mean that the movie will only be released through DVD? =( I was hoping I could watch it in the theater.

I am really excited about this movie... I love John Travolta and he looks like he will not disappoint in this one!!! I just saw Ricki Lake on The View this am and she looks amazing...she's lost about 120 pounds!!! I will be interested in comparing the productions!!!

there are some big names behind it and from the looks of the trailer, it looks AMAZING!
I can't wait!!!
