I usually give my 17 month old baby 1/4 cup of rice mixed with vegetable or meats, every meal she eats rice twice a day . . she drinks her milk 3x a day and sometimes she eat snack . . my question is regarding the rice i'm giving her, is it ok to give her 1/4cup of rice every feeding? or do i overfed her?

Most people, including little ones usually just stop eating when they've had enough. I'd say what you're doing is fine but i'd be worried that perhaps she's getting more rice than anything else & little bodies need more things like pasta, meats & vegetables. Kepp what you're doing, she's obviously fine but maybe one day you could cut back on the rice & add extra other things. Give her some fruit instead of rice coz you don't want her to stop eating coz she's sick of the same thing all the time (i dunno how young they do that though). Try a banana or 2 for breakfast one day or even for lunch - something different coz she needs fruits as well! Good luck!

As long as she is eating it all I would say no. If you are worried then you should try giving her the vegtables and meat first and then if she is still hungry give her the rice.

I think whatever you are giving her is fine if she is eating or drinking it willingly. My two children will refuse to eat or drink once they are full.
