Am I doing wrong in not responding to my friends discussion?

I am facing this problem at present. I dont know whether, what i am doing is right or wrong. I dont reply to my friends discussions if it has many responses. I usually prefer to respond to my friends discussion only if it has less response. I feel like helping them when they dont get any response, rather than responding when they get many. If my friends have many responses then i switch over to discussions with no response and respond to such discussions.
Is it wrong on my path to do this? Will my friends have any problem because i dont respond to their discussion? How do you cope with such conditions?

I don't expect for my friends to answer my discussions because I don't have many responses.
I just my friends to answer my discussions if they find the discussion interesting.
Of course, if for a long period of time they don't find any of my discussion interesting, there are no basis for the friendship anymore, and I will delete them from my friends list.

Well, even if the discussion interest me i think before responding if it has many responses. Due to this, now a days i respond to my friends discussion as soon as they start, that is before they get many responses ;P

I dont know with the others but for me its no problem at all. I think it depends on the person but of course it feels great when someone responded on you. Everyone has different ways on how they manage to response to their friends discussion. well me, i would admit i cant respond to all of my friends since i dont have that much time but im working on it. Im looking for ways to respond to them all maybe at least one of their discussion and additional to that it also depends to the person if they can relate to the topic then they can respond and if not of course they will find another discussion to respond to.

You are right, it depends for each individual. Anyway even i make a point that i reply atleast one of their discussion so that when they see my response they remember that they have a friend with this name ;P

If possible I do try to respond to all my friends discussions, even though I don't always have a lot of time. I have a routine now when I log in, to check all my friends discussions first, that way I know I have time to see them all.

Even i have made a routine like thing. I log in myLot in the morning, check the responses i got for my discussions and comment on it. Then i start a new discussion. Later sometime i respond to my friends discussions. But even then i respond only if they have less responses, else i go to discussions with no response :)

Actually i respond to most of my friends topic whether it has many or least responses. If iam really interested with that topic i respond irrespective of the fact it has already got good response from other mylotters and even best response already choosen.I will suggest you to respond to zero responses topics and also to some others so that you dont have to worry about this.just my opinion.

Thanks for your opinion subathra. I will surely consider it. Actually i have to spend lot of time over here in myLot. I use my office net and i spend most of my time in myLot. So now a day, i have reduced the frequency of visiting myLot. I only come here at my free time :)

well, honestly due to time constrain , even i am not able to commit to all my friends but itry responding to them as an wgen time permits. i might have even missed some of their discussions but i guess its more important here to understand each other's priorities...everybody understand that..i too prefer responding to discussions which has less response....i guess its very fair!

Thanks for your supportive answer. At times i have found even your discussions with many response but i dont response those, so i believe that you wont have problem in it. But dont worry my friend, wheneve i see any of your discussion with less responses, or no response that interests me then i will surely respond to it :)
