Did your parents sing you lullabies when you were a child..

Hello! My grandma never sang lullabies for me. But my mom used to sing it for me daily when I used to go to sleep. I used to have always pleasant dreams due to it I believe. Sometimes my dad used to start singing lullabies and he always used to sing wrong. I used to correct him and say you don't sing correctly like mom. Please sing like mom.

i cannot remember tho wording of it anymore.but for sure,it is really music to my ears....but cant help but wonder,why evrytime they sing it,if your stil a child,you will surely fall asleep..:-)
