Yes smoking must be banned at public places at least. Smoking affects not only to smokers but also to those who are around such person. If government takes positive steps, it can be controlled which will be a great contribution to health as well as pollution. If anything is implemented as law, people accept it.

No, smoking doesn't bother me at all. People get enjoyment out of it so good luck to them.
I think all this talk about inhaling smoke and damaging health is over reaction. We inhale far more dust, pollen and other pollutants all the time and our bodies are equipped to deal with it. A bit of tobbacco smoke on top of that makes no difference at all.
Oh, I don't smoke (couldn't afford it in the UK!!) and please don't come back with the 'old chestnut' that science has proved it - there are always scientists who will disprove it too. We must all think openly on every subject and come to our own conclusions.

Hello! I am a smoker nor I like people who have the habit of smoking, so I feel banning smoking in public places is right thing to do. Actually few days back when I went with my family on holiday, we went to a small restaurant there for dinner. There was a gruop of some guys and 2 of them were smoking. We requested them to stop smoking, but they continued. Then the waiter tried to talk to them, but they said there's no 'No Smoking' Sign in the restaurant. Because of this we had to sit on other table, away from those ill-mannered guys.
