***would u think linux will replace windows in home PCs***

what u guys say is Linux is that much good to reach the PCs in home.. and if good what is the reason

If peripherals manufacture will support Linux.. yes, sure it will replace home pc users, personally, reason why people are having second thought of switching is.. some gadgets/peripherals (plug and play with M$) are not supported to run on Linux (may have work arounds).

The printers and other peripherals companies would adapt the Linux then It would be a good alternative for Windows.

yes definitely and it has even started some hardware vendors have openly given hardware specs so that open source community can develop drivers themselves whereas others are giving drivers on bundled cds hardware and GUI were major concerns for linux to be on desktop and i think linux has coped up well in past 1 to 2 years i have fully replaced windows on my home pc and laptop with fedora and it has been a good experience
