In a restaurant, do you check out the orders of other patrons? When you're in a restaurant, do you check out or observe the food ordered by the other patrons? Do you sometimes find yourself asking why you didn't order that food or why that patron ordered that food or wonder how that food would taste or differ from what you ordered? And whenever you can't figure out what to order, do you sometimes tell the waiter that you'd have the same order of that of the table near/beside you?

Yes I always check around and see what other's are having. Especially if I'm eating ina place for the first time, If I see more than two persons ordered the same thing, I usually ask the waiter what it is. Usually I ask first what the bestseller is. And whatever the bestseller is that's what most people get most of the time. I always want to make sure that I have good dining experience so I would not risk ordering something that's not highly recommended.
