My Grandma & Grandpa

This weekend I had some devastating news.
My grandma and grandpa are splitting up. Its a wierd agreement. My grandpa has said he is just up and leaving not taking anything with him and my grandma gets the money from the house. They are not getting divorced... BUT... I will never see my grandpa again.
He says that once he is gone he is never coming back. All because he has fallen in love with his 2nd cousin. Now I don't know what to do.
I love both my grandparents very much as they brough me up. Now one is saying I will never see him again and the other is going through manic depression.
What should I do?
What can I do?
They are like my parents. They brought me up and they decide to break up now Ive turned 19! :(
I was so unhappy over the weekend. I havent got a clue what to do!

I'm so sorry. That must be traumatic. My grandparents divorced but I was already in my 20's. There really is nothing that you can do and you can't expect not to feel very badly over this. All you can do is be there for your grandmother, as she is probably devastated right now, and you can still love your grandfather as no man (or woman) is perfect, and I'm sure it was a very hard decision for him.

I find it harder cuz they are like my parents. They brought me up. Ill always love my grandpa. He's leaving because my grandma keeps acusing him of cheating and he has had enough. I just dont know what to do. I dont want to lose contact with my grandpa. I don't think I will but he has said he is moving away and not telling anyone where he is going!

Well first off sorry you are going through this with them. Now if you and your grandpa are really close find a way to keep in touch with each other. And all you can do is be there for your grandmother since you said she is going through depression. Maybe get her to go to the doctor and get some meds for depression. Sorry I'm not much help.
