I'm currently a Ceramics and Materials Engineering major at Clemson University in my sophmore year. Ever since I've started college, I've had my doubts about the engineering program. I always have these major change panic attacks where i feel like i need to change my major. First it was psychology, then I wanted to change to Architecture, and i think Biochemistry. My original plan was to get into the new bioengineering program, but I've been really set back by having to retake a lot of my math and physics classes. I know that I should be happy in my major, and so far I haven't really been too happy with my performance or with the actual classes themselves. I went to a counselor in the career center here and she suggest that I check out the graphic communications major to see if i liked it. We're nearing the end of the year here and i'm just now checking it out. I emailed one of the professors to try and meet up and talk about the program. Just wondering if any of you have any good advice on weather it sounds like i should switch or to explore other options. Changing won't put me too far back in my coursework. Maybe a semester or two. I just feel like i might be unhappy for the rest of my college days if i stay in the major. any advice will be very much appreciated. regards Patrick
