Did mylot just cheat me?

MyLot does a bit of housekeeping once a month. They chuck out one line posts and one line discussion topics. They chuck out discussions that don't meet their terms of service - so if you have responded to such a topic then your post is deleted as well. Usually your earnings go down as well and that money is then distributed among the other members so that their earnings go up a bit. It doesn't worry me. It is only cents plus or minus, maybe a dollar in rare cases.

I dont know what is going on, I lost about 10 posts the other day and when I logged in this morning my earnings had not been updated and I did about 30 posts yesterday.

Mylot constantly is deleting discussions, responses and comments that do not meet their quidelines. One line or word discussions, responses or comments, discussions doing referrals to promote other affiliate programs, discussions that are games or are designed to get one word answer responses, things like that. They go through and delete them. If you posted the discussion or responded to it your post is then deleted as well and your number count goes down. I would recommend going through the guidelines, for everyone, and make sure that we are not breaking the guidelines. The link is at the bottom of every page. Just read the ones for the discussions, both do's and don'ts. The more we know the more we can try to prevent doing things that violate them and hopefully not lose our points.

No MyLot didn't cheat you, what happens is that MyLot deletes a lot of discussions or responses which breaks it guidelines, so it is really your responsibility to make sure that you don't respond to one of them, as then you have just wasted your time and effort, also if you give a very short response then it could be deleted as well. You may get better paid for giving a quality response, or taking part in a quality discussion. You should really write several lines in your response.

I think they erase discussions that they feel are not important or are really old so it can happen that your number goes down a little. I have had that happen to me as well. I think if you write quality discussions and comments it will go down less often. I think that I write quality, yet some of mine tend to disappear every once and awhile. Oh well, life goes on.

I have juststarted in mylot as you can see from my posts. But i have never experienced this kind of stuff in mylot. I am hearing this for the first time. There are many members who have not experienced this. I think you posts turned out to be paltry and spam and hence they may have deleted it. Dont know exaclt reason , you can contact the mylot administrators if you want... but in the end did it reduce your earnings ? if not then why worry that much...?

Most of the time when your post goes down like that,it means you responded in a post that got deleted because they didnt go by the guidelines.

That does seem weird that you are losing multile posts at the same time. You should send them a message and ask them what is going on.

I lost some of my posts.I've just realized that I lost them.I don't know what mylot tries to do.I've just reached my minimum payout and I hope that at the end of the month,the number of my posts and my money does not decrease dramatically.I passed my 300. post three times.When I first passed it,I stayed there at 301. post then when I come back to mylot,I saw that I have 299 posts and I made 3 posts then I said okay,I passed my 300. post and when I come back again,the story was the same,I have again 299 posts.I was angry about it and I made 20 more posts to guarantee the number of posts more than 300.
