There are so many to choose from, but mine is Darkness, played by Tim Curry, from Legend (1986). He exudes evil from his every pour. And that deep, menacing voice just demands your attention! I know just about every line of his diagloue from the movie. How sad is that? Who is your favourite movie villain?

Hmmm. I never thought about a favorite villain, but I guess Darkness would definitely go on a "Best" list. He was the best part of the movie. I'd include Casanova Frankenstein, from Mystery Men, even though he's a comic villain. Or maybe I just love him because he's played by Geoffrey Rush.

Casanova Frankenstein? Ha! He did make a good villain and I loved that movie, Mystery Men. Come to think of it, it's about time that I watch that again. It's been too long.

I don't buy much DVD, but for Mystery man I've made an exception. What a great comic movie. A must have for superheros lovers.

I love parody films, like Myster Men and, on the James Bond front, Austin Powers.

I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet, but the greatest movie villain of all time? Darth Vader! He has the voice...the cool costume...and let's not forget the whole choke-you-without-touching-you thing he's got going on. Of course, he also had that whole "heart of gold" thing in Jedi. I'm not really big into redemption themes. I kind of like to believe that some people are simply beyond redemption. A cynic would say that this is because it gives me an excuse not to try harder, but I prefer to think of it as...erm...well, maybe that's exactly what it is afterall. :P Another great villain - Elizabeth Hurley as the Debil Herself in Bedazzled. ;)

Darth Vader goes without saying--a foregone conclusion, if you will! What can I say? I grew up a Star Wars junkie. Back in 1983, my parents kept me out of school so that we could go wait on line (in the days when blockbusters were only shown on one screen because theatres were so small) for hours to see it on opening day.

Oh, yeah . . . Jason Voorhees is probably one of the most durable, considering he's been in so many sequels. I'm eagerly waiting for the next one!

Darkness is definitely in my top 10. Don't ask me why but I always found the character kind of sexy in a very evil way and that voice just makes me melt .. muahahahahah. Some deep seeded kink of mine I guess. I've always had a penchant for bad boys.. LOL. I got a kick at the end when he was screaming for his daddy to help him .. even the evil ones are little boys at heart. Gary Oldman's Dracula Antonio Banderas's oh so sexy Armand in Interview With A Vampire, I've always had a thing for vampires too. Definitely Anthony Hopkin's Hannibal Lecter, not sexy but scared the bejeebers out of me. Robert DeNiro as Louis Cypher in Angel Heart and as Max Cady in Cape Fear.. both creeped me out And we can't forget the ladies: Faye Dunaway in Mommy Dearest, Bette Davis in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane and Kathy Bates in Misery. Crazy ladies are always good for a scare or two.

Wow, we really think alike! I love each and every one of those, especially Oldman as Dracula. I never cease to get goosebumps when he forsakes his faith and stabs the cross.

That's too funny! That's one of the lines that sticks in my head whenever I watch that movie. It's the emphasis that he places on "boy" and the way his lips curl. Too cool!

Frost was an AWESOME villain! I absolutely love the scene when he and Blade are talking about humans out in public, where he calls them cattle.

That's one of the greatest performances of all time. "You know what you look like to me, with your good bag and your cheap shoes? You look like a rube. A well scrubbed, hustling rube with a little taste."
