what is you favorite food in your country?

I am from the philippines, i love varities of filipino foods but the food i am really craving for is Kare-kare, one of my top favorite foods. Kare-kare is a meat stew w/ ground roasted peanuts (to thicken the sauce), vegetables and atsuete(for color). The basic vegetable for Kare-kare are young banana bud heart (puso ng saging), eggplant, stringbeans and pechay. Kare-kare is usually served w/ sauteed shrimp paste.

Rice, fish, meat, tanduri (flour bread), bread are polular food, but with rice many delicious food can be made.

I like bbq buffalo wings, which are popular where I come from. Add some homemade fries and you have a good country meal.

MIne all time fav. is chicken but if you ask of my country then i love to eat the variety of food, dishes made by my wife as she loves to cook and she has introduced many new tastes to my tatse buds as well as my life. she dont cook non-veg.she is a vegetarian. so my best dish is difficult to write. if i write down one, i think the next is more tasty. i like kIdney beans with gravy with rice, i love stuffed paranthas only made by her, mushrooms, zucchini........... the list is endless.

try sinigang na hipon! sour and salty soup with shrimp! mm!

I am Indian, I like Hyderabadi Biryani very much, as its spicy, hot and most satisfied food.

for junk food, it will be hamburgers for me. but if its like any meal like home cook, i think it will have to be chicken with mole and rice.

My favorite food is shrimp. I love it fried,boiled, broiled,grilled,and in pasta or rice. I could eat it every day.

There are alot of food that's my favorite. I like hotpot, its basically a pot with boiling soup and you put vegetables, meatballs, beef and anything you want in it when you want to eat it. It like fondu, except its soup not chocolate.
