Does blogging make money

Hi...I'v been reading some blogs on the internet.. feel like making one for myself. Can you guys propose the best method for me to start blogging considering i've got little it skill... don't no much about html xml etc etc... And lastly how can i generate some income from my blogging... any ideas?

I will keep an eye on this discussion to see what others have to share. I just made my first blog. I still do not have it the way I want but it is comming along. I have heard people say that they made money on their blogs but I dont know how unless I Post the referal links to the programs that I am in. That would make some money I suppose. Good luck finding out your info. I am sorry that I cannnot help you.
