As of now, there is still one vacant commisioner's position in COMELEC.
The COMELEC is the governmet institution mandated to run the election. Though presently best with controversies (such as the anomalous purchase of the automated counting machines, unresolved elecroral fraud cases, issues on registration of first time voters, multiple registration and substitution voters in ARMM), its management promises to deliver a credible election.
Pray that COMELEC...
1. will have adequate manpower to manage the election
2. will not make any decisions taht will favor any of the political parties os politicians
3. will not be entangled once again with issues that will lead Filipinos to further distrust the intitution and its people
4. commisioners, directors, and staff will not succumd to any temptation of corrupting the voters and results of the election
5. will diligently enforce the electoral rules and security measures for this nationwide election
6. tha a righteous COMELEC Commisioner will be appointed to the vacant position
7. that other appointments in COMELEC will be vigilantly monitored by the people and properly handled by the authorities.

Let us all pray that the Comelec this time will do everything to redeem its tarnished image and eventaully come up with a credible and generally honest election. Since we have no choice but to trust Comelec, let's do our part of being vigilant in all fronts.
Let the true votes of the people as reflected in what is really written in the official ballots be heard this time. I am also hoping that nest election in 2010 will a new computerized election.

How can you pray and hope that there will be a credible election if Abalos and the rest of the comelec commisioners are there, who are all appointees of Gloria.Gloria has a credible history of corrupting and telling lies. How much if she is deploying the military and the police at this early stage of campaign to harass the poor.I've never seen this before, its only now.Even Abalos is not fit to lead comelec because of the many unresolved issues of corruption and vote buying, think my fellow Filipinos.

It's really a good thing that you were able to come with such a kind of an article. I just wish to have it read by every Filipino and those concerned citizens. I always wish for the Philippine Government to refrain from fraud and corruption. It is so painful to us who work for the government, the ones who pay taxes in huge amount then later to find out the money was just put into evil hands. God knows each and everything and that's why Im lifting this all to Him.
For every concerned citizens, please help each other in fighting out these big issues and controversies. REfrain from having this crab mentality.
