I'm right there with you! I dearly love to sit and observe people. I remember as a young child my father and I would go to a local park. After playing for a while we would sit on a bench and watch people. I still enjoy doing that today! There are so many personalities, quirks, nationalities, and more that I never grow tired of watching people.

People watching with someone else is much more fun as you can share your thoughts and have a really good laugh!!
Thanks

The Spanish seem to have people watching off to a fine art. I love the way each town/village has it's tree lined promenade with seats for the wrinklies to watch the young (well anyone younger than them) promenade in the cool of the early evening.
A lovely way to end the day and start the evening.

We have these shelters for the wrinklies in my country in the UK along the sea front.
Thanks

I am not a people person to be honest and I find it hard reading people, hence my bad relationships and the inability to find a partner who won't use, abuse and bully me, hence when it comes to people and strangers I am both wary and cynical. I know a lot of people can read others and enjoy people watching looking out for body language, expressions etc and it is quite a talent to possess and it is a great skill.

I will never understand why people will be horrible towards someone who is kind and thoughtful. I hear it all the time in relationships and I just don't get it.
You are one in a million Wolfie. I have been on many of your discussions and to find a man who is in touch with his feelings is SO rare. You have just been unfortunate to meet partners who use your kindness as a way to feel powerful and abuse your good nature.
I live with a man who does find it hard to express how he feels, and when I read some of the responses on this site, I realise my partner would never show this side of himself, even though he can be the most considerate and kind person. Whereas I am more open and will express myself, which can sometimes be my downfall.
I admire you Wolfie for being so honest and intune to your own emotions. You will go far and I wish you every success in your new job. Who knows the partner of your dreams may be right round the corner.;)

I know what you mean, it does make us suddenly aware of our own behaviour.
When I am being a good mum I tend to be louder in my speech, but when I'm an angry mum, I try to keep it quiet, lots of clenched teeth and mumbling!!LOL

Well I do this but not because I'm nosey.
I've watched things and watch carefully, taking the detail. when I was small and my grandfather would take me places in his car, my eyes would always be watching people. (also the trees, and just the world going by)
It's amazing how such detail can change the moods and open our eyes up to something new.
Generally I've learnt from this. example would be seeing people fight, which I've always said I'll only finish something. (I'm not one to start things)

Thanks Joey, I know what you mean. When I travel I often see people and think what is happening in their lives?

I also enjoy watching people...I find them fasinating....intriguing...funy....and so much more.
You can tell so much about a person if you are able to watch them (of course, without them knowing). Body language can speak volumes!!!
I would not consider this an invasion as I do not stare; but I do find "people" and their habits so varied....what a diverse group of people it takes to make up this great big world.
I think that I will always be a "people watcher". Society is just too interesting not to pay attention to....well, to a point!
Thanks for the great topic, my friend.
Blessed be!

No, you are not alone. I do it a lot too! One of my favourite past-times is to sit in a pavement cafe somewhere with a long drink, and just watch the world go by. I admit I don't always like people - I find a lot of their behaviour crass, stupid, and downright cruel in many cases, butI am stil fascinated.

HEE HEE!!
I think it is very easy to judge those we don't know. I do exactly the same and I am sure others are doing the same to us!

I dont watch as what you do , it is not right to watch it makes other people feel uncomfortable if they found out that you are watching them, especially females

I don't think anyone has ever been aware that I have been watching them as it is usually a glimpse at someone walking by or I have been intrigued by what they are doing.
I just find people fascinating and I cannot stop myself from looking at them. I look at their mannerisms and how they use their body language. I am a big fan of Big Brother in the UK as it gets a group of people together, who do not know each other and with all intentions to be nice to one another at the beginning, their true selfs come out. This to me is fascinating to watch.
I have never done it in a kinky way as some men will do when eyeing up a women or vise versa. I suppose I am just intrigued at human nature and how we all tick.
Thanks for your response.
