300 was very much exagerated...

I don't agree. I think 300 is a great movie. At this point this years best film. Lots of action and the slowmotions were just great! It is a rare thing in movie to use those slowmotions that way. I wish more actionfilms had that. Maybe the story was quite simple and predictable, but i really liked the movie. Gerard Butler was perfect for the part of Leonidas. Just my opinion...

even though it was like 70% computer work, it was a very nice movie to me.. I loved it, so did my friends..

nay, 300 is an absolutely terrific movie. the attitude, the valour the spartans display send a chill down my spine. so much to keep their honour. they challenged and even demured a person who projected himself as god. i think they were bogged down by the wrong priests who just had no respect for these warriors. my personal favorite line in the movie when the king says : SPARTANS NEVER RETREAT!!!!!!!!!!. the greatest sequence when the king as a young lad fights the beast and also , when he kicks the intruder into the well..

with the thriller and the the posters i saw...nah..not worth my money. it would just have me an eye strain and a heavy feeling afterwards.

I've read that it's the transposition of a comics book. I find it hyperbolic and suggestive. In the sacrifice of those heros you can recognize the sacrifice of every little hero of every time.

I like it very much. Although its background is too fabricated,but its a kind of art that is romantic.

It is based on Frank Miller's graphic novel. Similar to Sin City, the backgrounds and use of colors and contrast were intentional. They know the backgrounds looked CG, they weren't supposed to look real, it was an adaptation from the comic and that feel was supposed to carry over... which it did.
