When some people (of course not native english)are learning English, they pay much attention to the detailed grammar, which, in fact make them annoyed and confused. So, some say grammar is a waste of time, but I find, everywhere you use English, you have to use grammar, do you? Only when you learn grammar well can you do better in writing and reading. What are your views about it?

Hi, Of course, for those for whom English is not their first tongue, it is understandable that errors occur and as long as the meaning is clear it is not a problem. You only make three minor mistakes in your question; don't leave a space after a bracket and don't use multiple question marks, so I think your English is very good. As Aristotle notes, the degree of accuracy required depends on the subject under discussion and when discussing scientific, philosophical or religious or other such matters accuracy of expression is a virtue. Correct use of grammar aids accurate expression and is therefore desirable though not always necessary. all the best urban

Of course it's not a waste of time, if you choose to learn English, not only do you have to be able to make sense to other people but commas in the right places help people to understand things better. You cant just write a sentence - using a few lines at a time - without using grammar, it would just sound stupid!
