I am a Hindu by religion. though i am not totally against my religon it has many good thing but few bad thing or mathedologies which i can't accept open minded when i comape these concepts with other religions like cathelic, islamic ect.
the one thing i don't like is
about hindu temples we need to offer money to god if ur donating huge amount then priest will take a special care for you he will allow u to pray for more time other wise any comman man will allow to stay for just few seconds even he /she can't have a look on deity idol.
what the hell is this it means money is the only thing...

Don't get me started...
I'm not upset or against anything in my religion persey...I'm against and upset of what my husbadn's rabbi says.
For example...my hair. It says in the bible that the woman's hair is her glory and not to shave or shorn her head. He takes it one step further and says we're not allowed to shave or cut ANY HAIR anywhere. That means, we have a hairy body. (You really needed to know that, eh?). The longer our hair, the more glory we have. Does that make sense? Oh, and we're to have it pinned up in a bun for church as well.
Tithes and offerings: I know we're supposed to give 10% tithes and the rest of what we WANT to give is for the offerings. Rabbi says that we have to give tithes...but offereings every time we hear him preach. Because of this, my hubby will give him the last of our money (even if it's $5) just so we're not empty handed. Whatever happened to the "widow's mite"? I've been unable to do things that the children really needs because after the weekend is done, there's no money left because of the tithes and offerings.
Dress code: We're not allowed to wear shorts, short sleeved tops and opened toed shoes.
Money: We HAVE to be wealthy so we can give him more money...if we don't have any money, we're riddiculed and scolded.
Proverbs 31: We women have to be like Proverbs 31. If we're not, then we're not real women.
Women: Women are evil, liars, lazy, messy, backbitting...and all sorts of things that makes me not want to be a woman.
Men: Nothing wrong with me at all...
So, you can see, with what my husband's rabbi is telling us, women are bad. It's gotten to the point where I don't like going to church anymore.
The rabbi's girlfriend always gets praised at church. Of course she does, she doesn't have 4 kids, a husband, a house and herself to take care of. Of course she has the time to make homecooked meals. Of course she's able to do the things that the rest of us are struggling to do.

All religions are full of mythology. It also has a philosophy that helps people to improve themselves. The more intelligent people take this philosophy and follow it. The mythology makes the religion more colourful and interesting.

The strange thing about Hinduism is that even if you don't like the religion or even if you think that certain teaching of the religion is wrong you can still remain within the fold. But my religion Christianity is different. It is a religion which if true must be true in all of its aspects, but if even one aspect is untrue it must be thrown out altogether. And the same thing applies to Islam. you take the whole thing or you throw the whole thing.
By the way, catholic is not a religion. It is Christianity which catholic is part of.

Thank you for your honosty. It is good to look at all aspects of everything in life before just acceptng it. I do not call myself a christian in the common sense of the word because the religion of christianity has caused a lot of hate and bitterness. I am a believer in God who send His Son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins. There are too many do's and dont's in religion. I choose to live in a relationship with God and out of that relationship i seek to do His will. No forced do's and dont's, just love and respect.
